Pilate, although in a position of power and authority to release Jesus, chose instead to compromise and conform to the Jewish Leaders to have Jesus killed. Tonight we will see how external pressures to conform can also compromise the Christian’s life and how instead we should be confident in Jesus and his transforming power in our lives

John 17:6-19, Passing the Baton

Jesus was leaving the earth and leaving the building of the church to some fishermen and tax-collectors, there was no backup plan. Pastor Stuart takes us through the prayer that Jesus says for his disciples as he passes the baton to them to spread the gospel, a prayer for them that the father may give them the things they need to be successful.
